About us:
House of Paws and Kat Eyes is a not for profit foundation working in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and undergoing charitable foundation registration in the UK.
We are proud to be an animal rescuer, dedicated to saving and improving the lives of animals in the local community and beyond. With our rescue base in Pakistan we are one of only a handful of animal welfare organisations in this country helping animals to live a life free from cruelty, injury, disease and starvation.
Our team works tirelessly to provide shelter, care, and love to animals in need. By promoting adoption and educating the community, we strive to create a future where every animal has a loving home.
In addition we aim to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and the importance of vaccination & spaying/neutering pets to reduce overpopulation and and the spread of diseases.
We are in the process of registering as a not for profit charitable foundation in the U.K, thereby giving reassurance to our supporters that their kindness goes directly to our aims and mission.
Missions
- Provide a safe and loving environment for animals in need: We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats , dogs and any animal we can support a second chance toward a happy and healthy life.
- Supporting the community: to access essential veterinary care for their own and any animals of concern. We aim to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and the importance of vaccination & spaying/neutering pets to reduce overpopulation.
- Promoting and supporting veterinary programmes: neutering and vaccination initiatives are aimed at supporting local communities toward high welfare for their own animals and street animals, to protect them from disease and control population.
- Outreach - Animal Welfare Education - promoting respect and compassion in animal care: Support the public toward a culture of compassion and empathy through the provision of animal welfare & educational resources
